If you smell gas or suspect a leak
Close the cylinder valve, open doors and windows, and do not touch electrical switches or light any flame. Move the cylinder to open air if safe, and call your supplier or emergency services.

Frequently asked questions
- You may smell gas (a rotten-egg odour), hear a hiss near the regulator, or see bubbles when you brush soapy water on the joints. If you suspect a leak, turn off the valve, open windows, avoid switches and flames, and move the cylinder outdoors.
